About the Role

Pindan Group is seeking the services of an experienced Human Resource Coordinator to cover a period of parental leave at our Belmont Office commencing May 2021.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice to managers on our obligations under awards, enterprise agreements and other relevant legislation;
  • Advising on human resources policies and procedures, employee relations, performance and regulatory issues;
  • Providing advice and assistance and support in the use of our human resources systems; 
  • Providing support with the implementation of initiatives (where applicable) and recurring annual activities such as remuneration review, talent review and performance management;
  • Facilitating HR-related government reporting obligations, i.e. Gender Equality and Training
  • Managing the recruitment and onboarding processes;
  • Drafting formal letters and contracts of employment;
  • Conducting reference checks and booking of pre-employment medical requirements;
  • Conducting post-recruitment and exit interviews;
  • Providing support and back-up for the mobilisation function;

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have previous experience in a Human Resources environment as well as formal HR qualifications;
  • Be a team player and have strong organisational and analytical skills;
  • Have the ability to communicate with Managers, employees and subcontractors effectively;
  • Work well under pressure and be driven and focused on meeting deadlines;
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Have a high level of initiative, and be process-driven and solution-orientated;
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
  • Have advanced MS Office skills;
